In our tanks
Our tropical range changes every week, from easy fish for beginners to rarer species for the dedicated fishkeeper. Here are a few of the regulars.
Livebearers
Colourful, lively and great for a first community tank, along with guppies. Ask the team which ones mix well together.
Cichlids
Cichlids, rams and angelfish, full of colour and personality. Tell us about your tank and we’ll help you pick the right ones.
Shoalers
Shoaling barbs and tetras, plus gouramis, bettas and corydoras to bring a bit of movement to every level of the tank.
Big characters
From nano tank fish to ones that grow over a foot long. If you’ve got a big tank, ask us what’s in.
Planted tanks
Tanks of live tropical aquarium plants to green up your aquarium and give your fish somewhere to hide.
Cherry shrimp, snails, plecos and catfish to help keep things tidy, plus pufferfish from time to time.
Tanks & kit
Starting from scratch or upgrading? Our aquatics department has starter tanks, filters, heaters, lighting, décor, food and treatments: everything you need to set up and look after a healthy aquarium.
Tell us the size of your tank and the fish you fancy, and we’ll help you put together the right kit.
Expert advice
Our aquatic team are always on hand to help with setup, water quality, fish health and treatments. Not sure about your water? Bring a sample to the fish department and we’ll test it and tell you what to do next.
Can’t see what you’re after? Let us know and we’ll do our best to get it in for you, then let you know when it arrives.
